Hossein

Who rings the bell in Australia
Life is like a merry-go-round
Some free some in refugee compound
Some want to help and do care
Some like to pretend they are unaware
Some know the case and want to fight
Some busy with joy and their delight
Some try to stop injustice and cruelty
Some think of their luxury drink purity
Some express grief and ready to join
Some choose wrong side of the coin
Some worried about Nauru and decency
Some for their pocket empty of currency
Many are there in the first squad
The second will face wrath of God
New year is coming some behind the fence
They don’t have the chane for self-defense
They must be released from Manus hell

From your Christian church, who rings the bell

I am a human like you not a slave

Nobody seen torture so much that I have seen
Nobody was forgotten as much as I have been
Where is your God who lied about justice before
Where is the liar who left me behind closed door
Where is the humanity you claim for
Treat homeless people on Manus off shore
Hatred I can see in your faces teacher
Your democracy is an upside down feature
History is repeated this time by the Aussies
Like what happened to the jews by the Nazis
I know what you have done to the owners of the land
Shame on you aussies left them all empty hand
You’re trapped and deceived by your media
Shameful history you’ll have in the world encyclopedia
Be careful about the way you behave
I am a human like you not a slave
I will leave your land with no hate but love
Not because I forgive you but for my belief in above
I know how to put the words down
and always remember Im an Iranian not a clown.

Welcome to Paradise
Have you heard Manus in the middle of the pacific
and its detention center with accommodation specific
Have you ever been to this land of paradise
Where aussy government with PNG compromise
Have you ever seen insects and worms in your food
And been insulted and defamed by guards so rude
Have you seen friends in front of you drown
Or been treated by the G4s like a clown
But I have lived with those who do self harm
And they have already pushed the button alarm
It’s up to you aussies to remember or forget things
Or leave the birds on Manus with broken wings
We want you here on this island far
Never close your heart, leave it ajar.
